Description:
The aim of AmIWheelChair project is the design, validation and deployment of a smart facility which can help disabled people using wheelchairs. The developed system will be used either in everyday life or for specific usages such as sport or medical monitoring. Measurements gathered by the sensors can be presented both to the user, his doctor, his coach, town planners. Some constraints must be taken into account to maintain the smart wheelchair accessible to these people and not to change their daily habits with too invasive sensors.
