Dead STM32Primer2 (project: Maze 1.1)

I flashed the Maze 1.1 application and it killed my brand new STM32Primer2.  Now the Unit will not power on and I cannot restore the old OS because it will not power on it looks like it comes on for half a second and then turns off again.  All I did was flash the Maze 1.1 application by starting the debugger and then run the application.  It programmed it fine but when I ran it it turned the screen on then off and killed it.

Hi,

You probably programmed the CircleOS for the Primer1 in the Primer2...? When you do that, the CircleOS will shutdown the primer because the power management is different and it gets quite lost.

Very soon (later this week) we will issue an update of the software that will prevent this from happening, but for now you should be able to erase your STM32's flash by using the 'Erase' command in RFlasher while keeping the Primer2's button pressed down. And then you can use 'Restore_Primer2_Circle_Factory.bat' to reprogram your primer. After that you must make sure that when you debug an application, it is configured for the correct version of the Primer, 1 or 2.

Re: Dead STM32Primer2 (project: Maze 1.1)

The projects of this site for "All hardware platform"have been updated to incllude two different projects: one for Primer1 and one for Primer2.  This problem will not occure anymore.
To reprogram your Primer2, you have to keep the orange button pressed (to force the power whille the CircleOS for Primer1 is trying to shutdown...)/.
