I have an RLink Pro and a Primer2 (not Pro). Is it possible somehow to use/transfer the license of the RLink Pro to upgrade the Primer2's on-board RLink in order to remove the debug size limitation? If not, how can I use my RLink Pro to debug the Primer2?

There is no 'debug connector' on the Primer2, and you have to use the embedded RLink. In this case, your RLink-Pro is useless...
Send me by email the serial numbers of your Primer2 + RLink Pro, and I will send you back the license file for your Primer2.

is it possible to use an RLink-Hardware with the RIDE7 Enviroment delivered with Primer2 or are there any restrictions (unregarded the 32k debug limitation)??

Hi,

Yes, it is possible.

There is only one flavour of the software, and for ARM it requires no registration. The limitation only depends on the type of RLink, STD or PRO. Primer or Stand-alone or REva makes no difference.
So if you have the Ride7 and ARM kits, you can use any RLink to connect to ARM devices, with the features and limitations that your RLink(s) provide(s). It doesn't matter if you got the software from a CD with a Primer, a CD with a RLink, our website or anywhere else.

The version numbers of the kits matter, though, so you should make sure that you use the most recent, which is the one on our website.

Hello,

I neither have Primer2 Pro and nor Rlink Pro i.e I have std versions of both of these. If I get any one of the pro (Primer2 or Rlink) of the them, would I be able to have unlimited debugging capability.Please let me know.

Hi,

Effectively whith the Pro version you will be abble to have unlimited debugging.
But the pro license is linked with the serial number of your equipment. So if you want unlimitted debug on both, you have to by an upgrade for both equipments (RLink and Primer2).
