STM CircleOS forum / What is Evo_Circle_STM32X.elf and FAT_OP4.elf used for ?

HI,
While creating the project in the Ride7 for Evo_Circle_STM32G i found these two files getting created under teh application directory structure :

Application0
|_________Application.c
|_________Evo_Circle_STM32G.elf
|_________FAT_OP4.elf

I understand Application.c is the source file but why other two elfs are used.
While creating a new project for STM32F family like STM32F103XX--> STM32F103VGT6 I cant find these two elfs generated.Why so?

Hi,

Evo_Circle_STM32G.elf is the code of the CircleOS.
FAT_OP4.elf is the list of CircleOS applications.

Of course these files are only needed when creating a CircleOS project. So when you create a non-CircleOS project for the same device, you don't have these files.

All this is explained in the docs in a much clearer way...

hmm so for different families of STM32 primers will have different Evo_Circle_STM32XX.elf.So Circle OS is different for different families or certain part(init,etc) is only different.
