Hello all,
I'm running Ubuntu (gutsy gibbon version), and would prefer not to shut down my Linux in order to run RIDE.
Therefore, I have specially loaded QEMU virtualiser, and created a Windows 2000 image, just for RIDE, as RIDE doesn't run on Win98/Millenium etc . Then, I had to load the Windows 2K service pack #2 , then a recent windows installer ;(
Alas, RIDE announces:
Welcome to the Ride7 Error report
The following files will be zipped and sent to Raisonance Support:
* Ride7Log.txt
*Ride7.dmp
The text of the file tells many things, but the top line says:
Ride7 caused an access violation (0xc0000005) in module RIDEPR~1.DLL at 001b:022d0f90
It's not a memory issue, my virtual Windoze box is running at 41%RAM usage of 150MB total
I haven't configured USB specifically for the STM32 circle yet, on the virtualiser.
My other guess would be that Raisonance have not done as clean an install as me, off W2K, and then SP#2, followed by the installer.
Doesn anyone have ideas on this ?
