Blue Screen Of Death (on Primer)...?

Hello all,

I recently received the STM32Primer and it seemed to be working fine -- but now will not respond or reset. When the button is pressed, the screen backlight turns on briefly, but the screen remains dark blue. I've tried removing the battery jumper and leaving it off overnight. Is there something else I can try to do a hard reset, or should I give up and return this one? It seemed to be doing well for the first day or so.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try to program it? If yes, the original OS + applications have been probably erased...
If you never try to program it, yes, it seems to be out of order (removing the jumper should be sufficent to reset it).

I did try to program it (using the IDE). Is there a way to completely restore the factory settings? (I already tried removing the jumper -- even overnight.)

Execute the batch:  Restore_Circle_Factory.bat
in C:\Program Files\Raisonance\Ride\Lib\ARM\CircleOS

I keep getting error 304. I have the USB connected to the Debug port.

Re: Blue Screen Of Death (on Primer)...?

I'm a newbie to the STM circle, but as I understand it, the USB code is in flash, not hard coded ?
(and the circle-OS)
Therefore, if you meddle with these areas in flash, "no workies anymora."

Re: Blue Screen Of Death (on Primer)...?

CircleOS is also in FLASH. The Primer embeds a "RLink" (JTAG programmer/debugger).

Error 304 means a fatal communication error. It seems that you now have a problem  to communicate with RLink. Strange.
