While trying unsuccessfully to get the I2C1 on PB.6/PB.7 to work, I managed to fry my Port B. When this happened, my laptop shutdown. When I restarted and tried to run Ride7, I got this message:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
C:\Program files\Raisonance\Ride\bin\Ride7.exe
This program has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"
Well I sent an email to Raisonance and did not get any reply. I tried reinstallation, registry cleaning, more reinstallation and Visual C++ distribution removal and reinstallation. Nothing worked so I came up with my own solution.
If you notice, there is no RFlasher.exe. The program executes from "Ride7.exe -mRFlasher7". By renaming all the RFlasher7 files in the Config folder to Ride7, RFlasher now runs the full Ride7. I honestly don't know why the decide and making two application when clearly they are the same thing.
I still get the Runtime Error when I try to run a *.rprj file directly. I have to run RFlasher first and then load the rprj file.
If anyone knows of another way to correct the problem, please post it.
Thanks,
