Salut à tous,
Question simple : Combien, comment, et quand ?
En cherchant de l'info sur les stm32, je suis arrivé sur ce site de présentation du primer. Je fais un peu de lecture sur le site, et conclusion .... j'en veux un :-)
D'où ma question "koman k'on fé pour se le prokuraie ?"
J'ai pratiqué pas mal de kit de dev, et celui tranche avec ce qui se fait habituellement. ça sent le bon air des montagnes là dessous ;-)

just a note, not to answer you, but to $1 please. The community around the STM32-Primer will hopefully not be French only !

To summarize the post above, yazz asks how it is possible to get an STM32-Primer.

I will try to explain what will be available. There are 3 items that can be purchased:

1. $1: its price will be between 30 and 50 US$. ST starts to distribute the product internally, I think in a few week they will be publicly available. You must contact ST to get this product. It is limited to 32kB in debug (enough to do plenty of things)
2. $1: same product, but unlimited debugging. The price will be 159 euros. This product will be sold by RAISONANCE directly.
3. $1: this is a means to upgrade your standard STM32-Primer to a "Pro" version to debug more code. The price is 129 euros. This product will be sold by RAISONANCE directly.

Thanks Lionel for your translation and your answers. Sorry for the Primer's, I forget sometime that the whole world does not speak french :-)
So, the 3 items will be available at the same time in a few weeks, I suppose. Is that correct ?

Yazz,
The first batch of the STM32-Primer "Pro" is already in stock.. and could be sold by Raisonance (Raisonance will NOT sell the standard Primer).
However, this product is not yet visible on our official web site (www.raisonance.com), and you have to contact directly the company to send a formal P.O. if you want one unit.

I think the standard primer looks fantastic! At that price tag will create lots of opportunity to get the STM32 into the mainstream. Can't wait to get hold of one!

I got my STM32 Primer (standard) from Mouser Electronics (http://www.mouser.com) for $36.95. Unfortunately they are currently out of stock again.

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a STM32 Primer in the UK? I have looked on all of the UK distributor sites listed on the STM web sites for this product but have not yet seen one.

Try EBV, they have them on order for delivery at the end of this month. I was quoted a cost of £30.

Hot off the press - Farnell are going to stock the STM32-Primer.

They have allocated a part number - but its not on the web yet - so you will have to phone in your order. The part number is 1502504 with a quoted a cost of £24.99. Delivery expected "in a few weeks". I'm placing my order this afternoon.

For the Farnell customers:
They don't stock the TFDU4203, but they do have the 4202 version which has the same footprint. (you'll have to read the datasheet to figure out in what way the shutdown pin is different though)

Woo hoo! Just got a Primer today!! Actually it's a freebie from ST as we are evaluating their STM32 chip. I have also ordered one personally for myself from Future Electronics here in Canada ($35CAD), but it's going to be a while before that comes. I don't think ST anticipated just how in demand these would be. It's a very cool looking gadget that appeals to both engineers and non-engineers (my kids), so well done ST! Just make them more available!!
