EvoPrimer with STM8L external board

Hello,

we forecast to develop a demo based on EvoPrimer and STM8L, with additional board connected on External connector.

I have few questions :

Is CircleOS can be used with STM8L board or only available today with STM32 boards ?

Where can we get a schematic of STM8L external board , mainly to know what are the configuration of External Connector when STM8L board is plugged ? Color LCD is connected to STM8L pins ? External Connector ? SPI or UART or I2C pins ?

A basic question : what is the component that display on LCD when no external board is connected (no STM8L board, no STM32 board) ? When STM32 is connected, CircleOS LCD management is done by the STM32 , but what about when no STM32 board is connected ?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Best regards,
Pascal

Re: EvoPrimer with STM8L external board

Hello,
Complete information, documentation, board schematics and software installation for EvoPrimer and Open4 with STM8L are provided at www.stm8circle.com

CircleOS has been adapted to the STM8L, the software installation is provided on the "Resources" page of www.stm8circle.com

For the pin connections refer to the user manual (PDF download).

When a target board is mounted on the base, the target manages the LCD.

If no target board is mounted on the base, then the microcontroller for the debug interface on the base (in this case an STM32) can drive the LCD.
