Newbie to ST

I have been convinced by an enthusiastic ST sales guy to look at ST's offer for 32-bit solutions as I am, and have been since 1992, using Microchip for my solutions (oops perhaps I should not mention that word in this forum smile).

I am awaiting the ST-Discovery kit to arrive and whilst waiting I thought that I would download the datasheet and evaluate some of the features and benefits of the STM32F100 series.

My problem is that I can only find an 86 page DS dated July 2010 ref Doc ID 16455 Rev 5 and to be honest it gives me an idea but the specifics are seemingly missing - i.e. the JTAG programming pins seem not to be shown, RTC information is very basic as are USART and I2C.

Am I missing something here or have I gotten hold of the wrong document ?

You will find more complete information in the Reference Manual (RM0041): http://www.st.com/internet/com/TECHNICA … 246267.pdf
