STM CircleOS forum / RIDE stopped working correctly

Something broke in my RIDE installation directory, and I needed to do a fresh re-installation.
After un-installation and re-installation, RIDE does not anymore start-up correctly. During startup RIDE repeatedly gives following the message in the RIDE status window of the IDE:

Permission denied
var cfgfile = target+"\\"+target+"configs.config";

and the RIDE configuration is indeed incomplete and un-usable. Any suggestions on how to do a full and clean un-installation and re-installation.

Hi atitude,

Please make sure that you have installed Ride7 and Rkit-ARM in the same directory. All the configuration files should be installed under [RideDirectory]\Config.
