LCD backlight forced on. Will it break?

Hi,

How much more LCD backlight take current or will it break if I force backlight on (pin 95 PB5).
I need TIM4 for Phase measurement (TIM4 CH0 and CH1).

Re: LCD backlight forced on. Will it break?

Hi Juha,

The backlight is made with 2 LEDs, and their consumption is about 30 mA (Primer2), and there is no danger to break it, if you force it. The only issue is the battery autonomy.

OK

I will keep that in my mind when I write PWM measurement driver.
When measurement is over then return orginal TIM4 settings.
