i got problem connectiong my stm 32 to my pc using usb cable its keep telling me check the connection on the dongle and i had install and uninstall the ride7 for few time and keep having this problem...can you solve the problem for me so that i can get the device to work out.

another question is i can't restore to factory configurationas its pop out ERROR 304: unable to open USB communication with RLink. Please check your dongle is connected and that the driver is correctly loaded message to me at Command Prompt

Hi,

These are two manifestations of the same problem: the PC cannot connect to the RLink that is embedded in the Primer.

Please confirm that you plug the USB cable in the 'DEBUG' USB port, not in the 'STM32' port. For the operations you are trying to perform, you must connect to 'DEBUG', not 'STM32'.

If you are on the correct port and the problem persists, then it's probably a problem with the USB driver. Please then check that you are using the latest versions of the Ride7 and RKit-ARM kits. (tell them here)

I read the whole pdf file and install the driver for USB already but still can't get it work...I not sure my primer 2 is working on what version as now whenever i on the device its only show me white screen with leds blinking

I open the back cover of the device its stated as RASIONANCE STM32 Primer 2 V1.1 is this the kits you are talking about? or Ride7 IDE [7.15.0000] , Rkits-ARM for Ride7[1.14.0811]?

And for the USB port i put it on debug port while i connect to my pc as its mention on the PDF

Hi,

The kits I was talking about are "Ride7 IDE [7.15.0000] , Rkits-ARM for Ride7[1.14.0811]".

They are quite old and could be incompatible with some Windows service packs or things like this.

Please download the latest versions from the Raisonance website.

can you give me the link for that as i don't want to download the wrong software for the device as the device already goes crazy.

I reached a link for the download of new version of the software is Ride7
version 7.28.10.0075 and RKit-Eval51 version 6.05.10.0078

As for my computer OS its running at WINDOWS XP service pack 3

thanks for your help i will go download its now and should i uninstall my current ride 7 software?

if my stm32 primer 2 connected to my pc which factory configuration should i use cortex_pgm TSTM32F103RBT6 E Pcircle.hex S or cortex_pgm TSTM32F103VET6 E PPrimer2_Circle_Factory.hex S ??

i downloaded the latest program and driver that you send me i still can't get my stm32 primer 2 connected to my pc...its still giving the same problem ERROR 304: unable to open USB communication with RLink. my pc never detect any new hardware when i plug in the stm32 and the stm32 i giving me white screen when i on it as i believe the stm32 firmware had been earse and so on.

do you guy had any care centre in singapore? so that i can bring my set for checking
