cs-make - gone

Hi.

I installed RIDE from a CD a little while ago.
The RToolkit had files called:
<cs-make.exe>
and
<cs-rm.exe>
in the folder <Program Files\Raisonance\Ride\arm-gcc\bin>

I downloaded a new installation CD image, and these files no longer exist.

I would like to know if there is any other file replacing them (especially the cs-make.exe),
or - where can I get it , since I have makefiles relying on a make utility.

Thanks

** another solution would be using RIDE to compile makefile(s) in a batch process, if it is possible.

Re: cs-make - gone

Hi,

These files should be found from CodeSourcery. ("cs")
They were present in old versions of Ride because of a mistake in our build process.

You can also find many free make utilities on the web. (GNU is not just GCC, and there are others)

Running Makefiles from Ride is not possible. In a future version you might be able to configure it for running executable or batch files, but I cannot say when this will be available.

I hope it helps.

Best Regards,

Vincent
