Bad working Primer2 Touch Screen (Calibration related)

Hi everyone.
Now I just found my Stylus, but when I paint on the front screen (the CircleOS background screen) it works great and the accuracy is great - but in the top right corner only!

At the top left corner, the place where it paints is moved a little bit down - so it's not accurately under the Stylus.
And at the bottom left corner, the place where it paints is moved a little bit to the left!

So the calibration and accurace is great in the right side of the display, but it's completely wrong in the left!

Is that another problem with "my" Primer2 - or is it general software related problem?

CircleOS is going to be released (version 3.8) with a better accuracy for the touchscreen

Now I've updated to 3.8, and after I've re-calibrated the touchscreen, the accuracy is still bad!

But the problem is only in the left side of the display.
Because when i try to hit something in the left side, it hits lower than where I pointed!

Perhaps the LCD would be misplaced in the plastic enclosure..

I don't know... As I've also told you, the LCD screen is pretty loose, so it bumps up and down when I press on it!

Just in case of misunderstanding, when calibrating the LCD, you have to push on the plastic part, not on the blinking areas.

That's also what I do.
You have to click the left plastic part, then the right plastic part, and then at the bottom right of the screen. Right?
That's what I do, but it's very strange - fx when I use Drummer, I can't hit the things in the left of the display.

Re: Bad working Primer2 Touch Screen (Calibration related)

You can check the calibration on the 'home page', just by drawing something.

I believe that Drummer modified the default values (to correct them). But it has been done with the previous CircleOS version that used to gave different values.

Yes I know I can draw, and the same thing happends there: The point where it draws is moved more to the left and more down, than where I press!

Re: Bad working Primer2 Touch Screen (Calibration related)

I wasn't referring to the drummer project.

I'm using the latest version of everything.
Obviously its the calibration routine that doesn't work.
Or are my unit broken?

Almost nothing on primer2 seems to have been constructed correctly.

Re: Bad working Primer2 Touch Screen (Calibration related)

fad_electric, look at some of my previous posts, where I'm telling about some bad things with my Primer2 - like loose LCD, bad Joystick, top of the LCD screen is broken (or something like that - look at the picture)
