matloub :
Hi
If you plug the usb port called STM32 on primer 1 and it is not detected by Windows,
(does not appear in Devices manager-> Universal Serial Bus controller)
it can only be a hardware problem.
Are you able to use your primer I mean can you program it?
If you can progam it it would mean that
your USB port, the cable you use and the usb port called debug work properly.
Can you let me know this point.

Matloub
Hi Matloub, I hope you're directing the question to me (ryujip :: Yesterday 06:07:01).
The "DEBUG" usb port is perfectly fine, i can program my primer1 perfectly fine, the
windows can detect RLINK with no problem....
but the story of "STM32" usb port is as follows:
(a) if I program the primer with "VirtualComPort" sample projects, in response the windows can detect it and register it as COM4
(b) if I use sample "HID" projects, the windows device_manager response is "UNKNOWN" under universal_serial_bus_controllers....... my question now is How do I make windows xp detect it as "HID"?
furthermore, if I use HID sniffer program, the primer1 is totally not found.
are there any standard windows_driver to solve the "UNKNOWN" phenomena?
appreciate any help you can extend. thanks.
regards
Ryuji
