Help

Don't know what happened, but after enabling my Primer, the LCD screen starts to flash. In other words, the screen enables and disables itself. Same thing happens with the sound.

I would like to join this year contest and have already posted the extension board. However, in this condition I'm not able to finish the software.

Does any  one knows what's going on. Have I somehow changed for example the bootloader.

Re: Help

Hello,

Sounds like it could be the regulator on the PCB there is burned...
Nr2 issue on this site:
http://www.stm32circle.com/resources/known.php

But i am ofcause not sure for this, how fast does the LCD blink?
Did you touch the pcb while it was running?

Re: Help

Hi, thanks for your response.

The problem has already been solved. In this case it was not U9 but U17 which was damaged. It was overheated and its temperature protection was enabled (disabling the LCD supply voltage).

At the moment U17 is bypassed and the supply voltage is taken directly from the 2.8 [V].

I hope that this allows me to finish the application in time.

Re: Help

Hi,

Be carefull with the other regulator in the meantime, i had same problem but fixed it temporary with a normal 3.3V regulator (low drop out) with a diode in series... 3.3V-0.7V= 2.6V...

(Now i just hope your project isn't better than my project smile, best wishes to you)

Re: Help

For ST, the input capacitors (C23/C56) should be replaced by ceramic capacitors (instead of tantalum). It is done for the next production...
