Play Wave

Hi,

My goal is to put audio command voices in my Prime2 3.7 OS, I tried to put wave files in the SD card but it can't play the audio files right, all the audio converters I use puts the    "Chunk Data Size = 16(standart PCM) + 2 extra format bytes " so the audio is noisy like an old LP, even after a little change in the wave parser.
The only thing I remember is to add header files like "WELCOME_16K_8.h" used in Prime2 OS, but I tried to convert audio wave to hex with no success.

Does anyone know a "wave - hex" converter with an output file like "WELCOME_16K_8.h" file?
Thank you all.

Kind regards,
Vasco

Hello Vasco,

you may try sox ( http://sox.sourceforge.net/ ). It is one of the most versatile converters out there.

Sincerely yours,
