Hi All,

While waiting for my coming primer 2, I have one question:

Can I switch over the power in my application and only make the RTC part running?

If not, how long can the primer 2 running with minimum functionality with a fully charge battery? (I learned from the doc the primer 2 can run about 6 hours with sound one)

When the jumper of the battery is set, VBat is powered (and RTC is running). Bat the only solution today to wake up the system consists in pushing the joystick.

Do you know how many hours ( or days) the battery will use up in shutdown mode?

Just got a primer 2 today and am not dare to test..

You can insert an amperemeter at the battery jumper and make the measurement. I believe that I found more than 6 months.
I remember that the value was different (better) when the Primer2 had been initialized once.
I will make again measurement later.
