Try the following: remove the board from the plastic case, and check how it works when the monitor is not pressed. There are two caps that are too close, and they sometimes - for some Primers - touch each other. If the problem is there, you could try to put a small piece of paper between them before replacing the screen at the horizontal. Or resolder one of them in a different position, but the paper could be sufficent.
