Hello, i found a 433MHz serial transmitter and a reciver just lying around.Link:http://www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResu … fault.aspxI looked up the ic:s datablade and it can operate from 2,1V to 3,3V.On Parallax card the ic was limited to about 50% of its transmiting power.Everything is alredy in the ic and no need of external components(I used a cap on vcc.)This is the result from some soldering:The pinns are removed now.I had to modify the case a little but nothing big.Now i just need to send some bytes thru usart. If any one can help me with that and provide some sample code it would be great.Well, what to make with it?A cellphone that connects to your computer and calls thru skype?Maby a wireless mouse?

Nice project. You can always start by having some in-home automation. Perhaps data logging temperature or noise (inside and outside your house with a microphone). You could even use it as a sniffer.
