Some users experience problems for installing or using the USB driver for the RLink that is inside the primer.
Here is a document that includes the procedures for correctly installing, and also for recovering after problems have occurred:

If you have USB driver problems, please read this document and try the procedure(s) for your system explained there.
If you still have problems, please contact us by email (support@raisonance.com) or open a thread in this forum. Please make sure you provide all the required information:
* version of Windows (and service packs)
* type of primer (1/2, Std/Pro)
* description of the error, with copy of all error messages
* any other information you think is pertinent
