Hi I'm slowly working my way through the CircleOS Tutorial for Primer2, and well written though it is, I think I'm missing something. What is meant by s16 at the start of a line?

"s16" is equal to "int16_t" (signed integer 16 bit wide) ... just reinventing the wheel :-)
