My Primer crashes, why?

Every time I program on a new application, my primer crashes and I have to restart it by removing the battery jumper.
It crashes when I select the application from the main menu.
What seems to be the problem?

Re: My Primer crashes, why?

Is it a Primer1 or a Primer2 ? I suggest you to 'restore the factory' hex file (be careful: they are different for Primer1 vs 2).
Do you program with Circle_mgr or under RIDE7 ?
Is it your own application, or an application downloaded from this site ? If it is your own application, it could be that your startup is not correct.

Re: My Primer crashes, why?

It's Primer 1 and it's the application what is described in the Primer manual. I program under Ride7.

Re: My Primer crashes, why?

Hi

May I ask some other details:

+ Can try to erase your primer (from RLink advanced option)
Let us know if it crashes after that

+ Can you let us know what happens when you run "c:\program files\raisonance\ride\lib\arm\circleos\Restore_Circle_Factory.bat"

+ Have you always meet this problem or did it just appeared?

+ At which step of programmation does it crash (what do you get from Ride7)
