Mystery footprints?

In addition to the expansion header J1, I see two or three other 'mystery' footprints on the back side of the STM32  Primer PCB in the immediate vicinity.  One looks like a wide SOIC-8 package and the others like SMD discrete footprints.

What were these components intended to be?  A large serial FLASH memory chip, perhaps?

Thanks,

Dale Wheat

Re: Mystery footprints?

hum, hum...

Actually, it is a mystery footprints.
I have placed it to do a specific application, it could be a sensor for example but I let you find some other possibilities wink

Benoit

Re: Mystery footprints?

Aha!  I thought so.

Would you be a dear and clue us in to the pinout (or a schematic) or will I be forced to buzz it out with my trusty ohmmeter?  smile

Thanks,

Dale Wheat
