Why isn't there any real documentation about circleOS

How do you use circleOS?

Why isn't there complete documentation about all features?

All I can find is examples that WON'T compile out of the box,
with one exception (toggle_with_CircleOS) !
Flashing a LED, cool right? Probably not!!!

Is where any documentation on it's way?

You can find some documentation in the "Resources" tab of the web site :
- "STM32-Primer2 user manual" in Primer 2 page,
- "evolution from version 2.x to version 3.x" in CircleOS page.

You can see also the tutorial "Primer2 Tutorial (Cubic)" project, and the Doxygen documentation "http://www.stm32circle.com/circleos_doc/index.html".

Concerning the examples, most of the projects on the web site are posted by members "as is" and we do not check all of them.
The projects provided as examples are these marked as "ressource" type.

Hello,

Remember this is an evalutation platform for STM32 and the toolchain... So in my oppinion some level of skill in programming and electronic is needed, and then i think the documentation is acceptable.

Re: Why isn't there any real documentation about circleOS

I would agree with you Kasper, if it didn't state the following in the datasheet:

'Raisonance STM32 Primers for fun, easy evaluation and development with STM32'.
And it says 'Release your creativity' on the package.

I have seen much better development kits for releasing your creativity and fun evaluation.
Primer is more like a joke on this part.

Look at tis place and you will find some real stuff...
www.xgamestation.com/

or SX or propeller at
http://www.parallax.com/

I could even find better things to recommend from...
microchip and Atmel AVR

Re: Why isn't there any real documentation about circleOS

Hello,

it all depends on your target and expactations....

This is an evaluation board to getting to know the compiler and STM32 in a fun way.... nothing else...

(all seen from my perspective)
