unable to erase program because of automatic shutdown

I've got a small problem.
I've tried around programming my Primer1 and wrote a program that automatically shuts down my Primer. Now I'm unable to erase the program because the Primer shuts down before I can connect and erase. hmm
I should have thought about that before...

What can I do?

Re: unable to erase program because of automatic shutdown

The button has a higher priority ... If you start while keeping pressed the button, it should work (it has been thought for this case).

I've tried to connect while keeping the button pressed, but OpenOCD always reports the error: No device found on bus. sad

Re: unable to erase program because of automatic shutdown

Ok, I've solved the problem.
I was working on Linux command line. I've switched to Windows and it worked. Thank you! smile

But now I'm interested: How can that problem be solved on command line?

Re: unable to erase program because of automatic shutdown

Thus, the problem is somewhere else...
We had the same situation with the first version of CircleOS (when CircleOS for Primer1 was burned on Primer2 an automatic shutdown occured at the initialization stage). And pressing the button did work.
Next try: measure the voltage of the two regulators while pressing the buttom (it could be that the U9 regulator is dead).

Re: unable to erase program because of automatic shutdown

Sorry... I thought that you had a Primer2, and I realize that you are refering to Primer1 (that has no automatic shutdown)...
Anyway, if the shutdown occurs very early, you could shortcut R41 while reprogramming...
Did you make a try with the original RIDE software?
