I just received my Primer2 today. I am attempting to load the version 3.7 of CircleOS but I'm not having any luck.
I downloaded and compiled the contents of the zip file and burned it onto my board but I don't get anything but a blank screen. The only thing I can burn onto the board that works is the factory binary.
Any ideas on where to begin?
The Primer2 factory hex file is 323k. The version I built is 430k.
Also, when I burn the Primer2_circle.hex file included with the software I have similar problems. I can only re-load the factory hex if I hold the orange button down after loading this file.
Without recompiling, you can download the 'upgrade' package. The overall 'size' is probably wrong. 22KB are used in the bottom memory, and approx. 128KB at the top (including the welcome message and the main picture) \.
Found the source of my problem. I was using the Update_Primer2_Circle_OS.bat file which seems to have the wrong microcontroller part number in it or at least a different one than the factory restore batch file. After I changed the part number, my primer programmed properly with the CircleOS 3.7 that I built.
