Character Set

Hi where is the character set stored, and how easy is it to define you own?

I've not looked at stevenpostma 'proportional font for CircleOS' as I'm unsure as to if it will work with Primer2.

Re: Character Set

CircleOS does not allow to change the font. A few month ago, someone published a version of CicleOS with proportional fonts. See http://www.stm32circle.com/projects/project.php?id=48.
But the new font was not an option (just a replacement).
The current font is in the 'non-debuggable' code. We have space to add others... But we need something compatible (I believe that the way the font is stored is quite special).

Re: Character Set

Hi Francis.
If I understand correctly, the extended character set eg °, ±, is not supported, nor is there an easy wat to do it?

Re: Character Set

You could complete the table of characters...  see AsciiDotsTable in lcd.c
If you do it, please send me the resulting table. I will update CicrleOS with it.

Re: Character Set

Simon, if you agree we could publish your excel sheet. Now we could in CircleOS provides a function to replace the standard table of characters by any other...
