Can Circle OS be used in a commercial product or is FreeRTOS the way to go, and what about the drivers used in RTOS version that is from Circle OS? Olov

Re: license

Yes, you can use these source files in your commercial application.  It would not be a problem for Raisonance as long as you don't manufacture .... a Primer3.

Re: license

OK, I will not. Would be good to have something written somewhere like the FreeRTOS guys have. Olov

Re: license

What a pleasant suprise. I expected to do a lengthy search for "license", but I find mark has thoughtfully brought the topic to the first page.

If I understand, Raisonance permits me to use/modify their code for use in my commercial thermostat, or scope/multimeter, or ... (actually it is a MIDI synth). With the restriction being that the code is not used in .. a software development tool? Suppose I wish to offer a "developer's kit" version of this synth, aimed at users who might not only create new "instruments" but might modify the underlying formats?

I'm very pleased by Raisonance's generous position. I also would like to see something just a tiny bit more formal in writing.
