Standalone application (not using CircleOS).

Hello,

I'm thinking about getting a STM32 primer to play a bit with, and have at least two questions:

1 - Can we develop applications without using CircleOS at all ?
It seems it is possible to completely erase the FLASH and also to retransfer CircleOS to the primer, but maybe I'm wrong...

2 - Can we program a STM32 (on another board) using a STM32 primer ?
Maybe by chaining the JTAG signals to the other application board ?

Of course it is possible, you are not obliged to use the CircleOS. The STM32 can be directly accessed using the embedded RLink and cortex_pgm.exe.

No it is not possible, the embedded RLink is dedicated to the STM32 in the Primer.

Lionel
