"No Batt" Message

My Primer will not power -up with the batteries.  It only works when powered by the USB.  In the lower Left corner of the LCD it displays "No Batt" message.  The batteries are charged.  I traced through the circuit and have not yet found any faulty components.    What could be wrong?

Thanks,

B.K.

Re: "No Batt" Message

Hi

I would like to know if this problem appeared after some time or if it always been this way.
It could be just batteries that need to be replaced.

Best regards,
Matloub

Re: "No Batt" Message

Hello,

You can also check that your battery jumper is correcty plugged.
If it happened suddenly then your battery might be dead.

Please check that you followed all the precautions mentioned here after :

Re: "No Batt" Message

Hello,

I just recently became a member so I'm not quite sure if I'm in the right place for asking this question, but any help would be greatly appreciated.  I was interested in purchasing (separately) the LCD screen that comes with the STM32 Primer.  From viewing the schematics, I noticed that the part number for the graphic display appears to be "PZG15BW-SCLW-1".  I was wondering if this is the correct part number I should use in order to search for, and purchase, said LCD.

Re: "No Batt" Message

Hello Sloan,

Indeed the LCD part number is PZG15BW-SCLW-1.
We bought this LCD through one of our distributors in France. The manufacturer's name is PALM Technology in Taiwan
The product might not be sold out anymore.
You'll have to ask your local distributors if they have PALM tech. in their linecard

If you need the datasheet I can provide it to you ny email

PS : their home page http://www.palmtech.com.tw/index.html

Regards.
