Ride7

Hi, I have installed the lates Ride7 : 7.42.12.0305 .WHile navigating the documentation i went to Help > View Documentation > Ride 7 Documentation > ARM Hardware > STM32 Primers > STM32G-EvoPrimer manual and STM32e-EvoPrimer manual.
Both are same .Why this is so ?Are they really same , whats the difference between them?

Re: Ride7

Hi,

These two boards are identical except for the CPU. The two CPUs are are pin-to-pin compatible and only the memory size changes between them. So you can run the firmware of the one that has less memory (E) on the one that has more memory (G) and this is how they are shipped because when the G was built, the firmware had not been modified for this CPU. Now it has.

Best Regards,

Vincent
