When installing RIDE7 on a virgin computer (e.g. where neither RIDE7 nor RIDE6 have been installed), you may get a dialog box asking you for an activation code.
This activation code is required only for the full version of the RCST7 compiler. For the ARM tools, there is no limitation on the (free) GNU compiler, and just click on the "close without change" button.
