Hi,
I am working as part of a group at Warwick University to build a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) device attached to the primer 2 to act as a stand alone milk sensor, the sensor will be able to initially sense the type of milk put onto the sensing area (semi-skimmed, skimmed or full fat milk). This will be developed to detect the 'freshness of milk over time'.
Currently we are having trouble utilising the ports of the the extension connector in order to use the micro-controller to act as a frequency counter to count the input signal from the SAW circuitry (frequency sine wave over a 1 second period). Has anyone done any work on using the internal clock of the STM32 for frequency counting, or any counting through ride7 and could give us some pointers?
We will post the progress on the community and will happily share the full project when completed.
Any help much appreciated... Thanks!
