STM CircleOS forum / primer with blue screen and can't communicate with the pc

hello,

To start i am new with the primer and i first tested the toggle app which is described in the user manual. this one works fine. After that i upgraded the os from version 1.5 (i think) to 4.10. and i installed the app again than the primer crached

any one who can help me

Hi,

First what is your Primer (1 or 2 ) ? , what do you mean by "the primer crached" and the which is the version of your system (Ride7 and KitARM) ?

It is the primer 1.
With the "crashed" i mean that the primer do nothing just a blue screen.
The version of Ride is 7.01.0002 and the KitARM is 1.03.0003

and i tried to restore the factory version of CircleOS and when doing that i get the error 304

Berthold, the first thing to do is to update your environment to the lastest versions available in the resources pages (CDROM image), or from the Raisonance website.

Ok installed the newer version of the program enviroment and update the driver.
and than i restored the factory and everything went well. So the primer works again

Now an other question how can i use the other usb port ?

The best way is to take a look at the ST examples provided with their peripheral library, at posts and projects on this forum.

hi,

i downloaded the mems data logger from the website, and i changed the code. than i want to compile it and than i get an error with says there is conflict with the header files.
the headerfiles are version 2 and i need to update to version 3
but i have no idea how to do that

First replace all files from ST lib (folder USB lib) by the new version.
Then replace the include of "stm32f10x_lib.h" by "stm32f10x.h" in the .c files and .h files.

ok "replace by the new version" but where can i find this ?
i went looking on the site of ST but didn't found anything which looks useful
