Minimum Power consumption of the Primer board

Hi guys,

Is it correct to say that the embedded debugger is basically disabled (not consuming power) when not in use?

I want to reduce as much as possible the power consumption of the Primer when not in debug. So, I will power down the Screen, the MEMS when not needed, and set the STM32 in one of its power down. But how do I disable the ST7 when not in use?

Thanks

Re: Minimum Power consumption of the Primer board

Hi,

When the USB connector dedicated for the debug is not plugged, the ST7 is reseted and its consumption is reduced to 1 or 2 mA. This is done with the R43 resistor.

Re: Minimum Power consumption of the Primer board

Thanks.

I was hoping to be able to put the whole PRIMER board in power down level below 50uA-100uA, so to exploit fully the STM32 low power nature (when in PD).

I understand it is not achievable.

Thank you
