USB UART in RIDE7

I've gotten the STM32 UM0424 USB example to build and load in Ride7 under Win2k, but it does not enumerate properly. Windows cdc will not connect to the included inf file (nor a modified one I made). The VID & PID all match ok, and Windows sees the device, but will not allow me to select the inf file, trying to connect to the standard usb.inf only.

Any ideas? Has anyone gotten a USB (virtual) UART to work as a standalone app via Ride7.

Thanks - Steve

Re: USB UART in RIDE7

Lionel & Stewee,

Thanks for the tips and links. Stewee's cdc1.1 project seems to work fine w/CircleOS1.7 & winXP. It's a great start for a USB project.

Thanks again - Steve
